And Love Too Must End…

I sensed the sky was blue
Even though her heart seemed blue
On a grassy knoll my heart implored
But the tears in her eyes had heard it before
Drinking a cold beer I promised happiness to come
She just shook her head to what I had become
I wrote this poem under a starless night
But I sensed in her smile this would be our final goodnight.

ah nice write.... physically the relationship might end but you still will hold the memories within your heart RDB

Sometimes in are mind we dont want to know the truth, but for me anyhow I can always sense when there is something that is wrong. Thanks for sharing this poem
