Season's Sell Day to day and nothing more, a choice, though not of mine, remembering the meaning of when life turned on a dime. Now it spins and spins and spins, tornado-like in twist, wondering where the landing comes between the lines' exist. No longer is it worth the dream creating fare of well. Imagine now, desires dark, chafed by season's sell. Packing up the happiness, storing it in hold, edges worn and mended not, another season's fold. The knowing of "how IT should be" leaves stardust in the mind. The gift of love's reality... those teardrops left behind. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Very sad Maureen but also very beautifully written. Love these last two verses.... Packing up the happiness, storing it in hold, edges worn and mended not, another season's fold. The knowing of "how IT should be" leaves stardust in the mind. The gift of love's reality... those teardrops left behind. Take care Eric |

a fine 'write'! To an unabashed 'incurable romantic/idealist' but assuredly (by hard experience) no 'optimist' about the general 'human condition' and/or typical prognosis for many (most?) modern 'relationships' ...this is an especially apt description of folks like me: "The knowing of "how IT should be" leaves stardust in the mind. The gift of love's reality... those teardrops left behind." |

Oh Maureen, this is a fine write of life's painful moments, which sadly seem to resurface persistently during the so-called 'joyful' holiday season. Peace to you! |

trutodaraiders, garysgirl, ethome, stevepoet, secondhanddreampoet,Angel4aKing,Interloper, Roniece Dawson-Bruce,Midnitesun,Pilgrimage... thank you to those who read and respond. Each day seems to enlighten me as to how naive some of us can be as we are taken in by words and yet still can't see between the lines both written and facial. Each day I become freer and have a tremendous weight lifted...I wish that for all others who try their best to live an honest life. M |
