feeling my heart beat
is sheer torment.
The instrument of my
death, bringing the
companion love, to force
me to my kness,
knealing in pools of
tears before my maker.
Trying in vain to
explain the vagaries
of my state, but
failing; so i submit
now and forever to
his eternal laws and
punnishments, abidingly and wholeheartedly!

At the touch of love, everyone becomes poets. Plato 427 BC-348.

May Bernadette keep your light lit!

Your Maker could surely not "punish" a man who is a vessel of love and who appreciates the gifts of the Creator.

A well-written, impassioned write!

Love, Light, & Inner Peace,
Linda

Forever In Your Heart

The more humble we are, the closer we are to God, we all fail, that is why we need him, if we were perfect, there would be no reason for his perfect soul to die for us.

Humbleness and confession is good for the heart and the soul!

distinguishes between the  true christian, and the hypocrite.....the hypocrite will always be prideful, boastful, never humble nor admitting wrong, sin.

A true Christian (child of God) feels conviction from the holy spirit, to repent and change, to do better, to go and sin no more!

That is how we know Gods loves us, because he sends the conviction of wrong, just as a parent scolds his child, so does our heavenly father who loves us , just like a potter and the clay, he has to take the lumps out to smoothe the clay, we are his cly in his hands and he is still working on us, molding, shaping us into his perfect image everyday, removing the lumps(sin).

without conviction of wrong, some would question if they know God or not, for his word, the holy bible teaches us, the he is the good shepherd and the his sheep shall hear his voice.

Through chastisement and conviction, therefore we know we are the sons of God, or the children of God.....

Your poem just brought out alot of thoughts so I typed them as they came to me...

Merry CHRISTmas!
