We hiked down those old dusty roads. Hid out in the woods, Ran down to the little muddy Water tank to catch some crawfish. We would stick that crawfish on our hook And later we’ve lot’s of perch. We ran wild in those marshy back woods Smoking cigarettes because We thought it was cool. We drove Dad’s truck right into Barefoot lake Right after his last Payment had been made. We swiped Mary’s car when I was only eight Got caught joy riding in it the very next day The whipping we had coming I thought Dad could have killed us Chased us up and down the street With the limb from a tree I never swiped anything again. Yes we were wild and crazy kids looking for adventure And found trouble instead. Debo |

I moved from the country to the city when I was small it is always something that I will miss that I never got a chance to fully appreciate and experience....so being the only people in the world I envy and that is country folk!!! I like this!! ~~~kingsangel~~~ |
