. So busy last night— the old cat yawns in mid-afternoon . Under summer moon— wholly concerned with food and love— fireflies . The small dog suddenly brave stalks a beetle . They couldn’t care less— tadpoles in marsh water . |

. Thank you both, These arose from impressionistic memories of that year of transition from childhood to adolescence. It was odd how they suddenly came up after so many decades submerged as thought lost. Thanks again John . |
