dark, on the edge of the water
sun set deep on the edge of the misty water
waves crash on the sands of my despair
full moon creeps over my shoulder to greet the night
fog rolls in to engulf my ever being
riptide pulls me down, slowly
i am helpless
i cross my chest and pray to the Loving Lady
to save my soul from the drowning pool
wait!
from the dense fog a light appears,
calming the seas and gives me a peace
a peace i had never felt in my entire existence
and then i saw her
She had answered my prayer
an angel floated above me, smiling
a soft, re-assuring hand on my shoulder
then she lifted me up and held me close
worry not my love, you are safe now.
it was then my life was saved and my eyes opened
she possesses my very soul
there is no other love to feel or see
thanthe love I have found in the Angel of the Sea.

Very beautiful write.  Even the outline of your words reminds me of an angel.
