Framed with the steel of past/present times
eyes hold to a view of fixed perceptions
unblinking and set like concreted towers
sunken in sand of impersonal lands.

It’s a heart to mind “thing” that causes a shift
and brings down a haze on notions once bold
to enforce a deep and deeper still stare
into the rightness of what’s been entrenched ~
and today, this day, this day of my days
I bare my eyes to finally see
there’s more than ever I thought before.

Blow, blow, blow, blow the past down
so I huffed and I puffed but there’s never a way
to release the glue of what happened to me
because, because, it’s a heart to mind “thing”
that works in a dream to make everything be.

And so in this dream that no one can see
I’m as quick as a bullet well shot
right under the frames of a guarded view
knowing and saying, “Love isn’t wrong”
but asking, asking “Is it, my love?”

The dreamer awakes and all is still
except for the fall of … silence!

No, LOVE is never wrong and in the dream you KNOW.
