Turning Points

"Breaking up is hard to do."

You know there's a place between
holding on and letting go...

A place where the heart seems to
let go of emotion and take
hold of reason.

Before you reached that place,
you held onto every reason to hold on,
but after you reach that place,
you embrace new found reasons to let go.

I call that place the turning point.
A place you embrace when you begin
to wonder why your heart wants to
be with someone that doesn't
want to be with you.

There will come a time
when the heart gives
in to the mind.
