Adonis & Cassandra

Insanity,
the tamed mind of a seasoned bed wetter
with a Draconian grandmother
who smites the water boy
when time to go becomes
time to leave.

Loose women and loose men!
Latter does not exist
latter is considered lucky,
lucky lad with the ladies.
Women though,
they shall make men
into Pez dispensers,
so when time comes to speak
they can just pull back the head
to give candy and maybe flowers too.

Things that are forgotten and old
have been replaced.
A progenitor
lodged between my toes
will,
tomorrow,
sing, "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen."
Granddad has seemed quite small
these days.
They who flirts,
feels dandiest
and understands things
like composition of monkey glands!

A fraternal belief that disbelief
in this macrocosm full of
maternal figures
is crux to achieve purity of
the spleen.
Yellow vegetables
and other forms of
dark sunglasses.

I see,
I see,
Isis bullwhipping
Narcissus to quit looking
at himself and do the dishes.

I see,
I see,
someone who sees all things
gnarled, gnarly and pretty.

Yes it's me...

It seems we are on the way to a return of Matriarchy ... it's the eternal circle ...

but every time around there will be hopefully also evolution, so that none of the sexes loses.

A complex, interesting poem! I had to check Pez Dispensers ... now I know ... a little sweetness brings always joy.

Love,
Margherita

"Isis bullwhipping Narcissus"
A wonderful phrase

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

As always, I find certain lines mesmerizing... have to tear myself away from them because the whole is always worth knowing... excellent!

Edward,

I, too, found this very interesting and mesmerizing.  Unlike Margherita, I have no clue whether we are becoming a matriarch or
patriarch society-sometimes I wonder if we lack both!  Oh, on the brighter side, I found your poem intriquing.

This is on-the-money! I know these people, but briefly!

Welcome back. I hope your sojourn into the real has brought you more material for wanderings into the surreal. I have missed your musings through my days of lurking.
