Now all shoes are out of her reach, which really isn't that far. Annie's name really should be, "Terminator." I had forgotten the work involved in being a parent, and boy am I "pooped!" Carpe' Diem |

Oh Sharon! Annie looks adorable! Look at those beautiful blue eyes! When did you get her? The joys of puppy parenthood. ~Hugs to you both~ Autumn, the year's last loveliest smile~ |

LOL, Expensive shoes and puppies! What a combination! I'll bet you're finding all sorts of things you need to puppy-proof! Worse than a baby, they are ... but absolutely as loveable. She's a lucky little gal ... I'll bet she's spoiled rotten already! How's Sheba cat surviving the new sibling? Best wishes and hugs, /Kit |

Nancy Lee, Annie was sort of a rescue from a house-run puppy mill. The people breed and sell dogs from their home for way less than the going market prices for purebreds, and purebred/cross. Because they free-fed and let puppies run loose inside and out of their home, most will eventually get the same illnesses from eating, playing and sharing "space." Because their overhead is low, puppies are offered at "discount prices." Annie has been treated for two separate things, but she's is fine now, has most of her shots, and eats like a horse! I heard she was the only one born to a black Chihuahua, who got "visited" by Yorkshire Terrior, a designer dog of sorts, and they call them a "Chorkie." She's 2 kg now, that's about 5 lbs. in American and might reach 8-9 lbs. fully grown. She goes everywhere with me in a bag like Paris Hilton, and I swore I would NEVER do that! I went there for another type of pup, and left with this little rascal. She's full of beans, and for the first time in my life I actually am feeling my age! Go ahead and laugh Nan, laugh really loud! My cat, Sheba, a Bengal, and Annie are finally getting on, but the cat is twice the size of the dog, it's so funny to watch! I think she finds her a real annoyance after the quiet life we have led. When we all love her best... [This message has been edited by Mysteria (11-24-2006 02:17 PM).] |

Granny, I had to look up the dog you own, and boy, they sure look like a big Beagle, which is what I wanted at first, This is great site to look at dogs, and started it all: Next Day Pets |

! Sharon! what WERE you thinking???? OH, I can relate to that shoe scene, having had a small terrier pup (many years ago) devour a favorite pair of heels and my knee high leather boots! one shoe from each pair! ~sigh~ but you really can't scold them for having such good taste. |

Since losing Sugar I have been thinking about some company but don't think I have the time right now to help raise a puppy or kitten. I guess I don't think it would be fair to leave them alone so long during the day. Maybe when summer comes, time spent would be enough shared. Annie is adorable. M |

Well let me see tonight I am designated to babysit my 2 grande girls, their dog Bandit (a never sit still Jack Russell, Max, one huge Ragdoll cat with a severe attitude problem, Sheba, my jealous Bengal cat, all in the same room with Annie the Terminator! So...if I am clever, I can delegate their dog to watch mine, their cat to scare the bejillies out of my cat so it hides, and put on a movie for the girls so I can sleep. Like that is going to work right! I repeat, "What WAS I thinking?" Maureen, wait! Trust me - just wait! LOL Glad you all enjoyed her, and she is sure a cutie patootie, but I repeat, "What on earth was I thinking?" Martie, yes they do grow up way too fast, and I always wish it could be "then." Here they are now, minus the cat Max, so they are growing up aren't they? |
