There’s a gent hereabouts Good at all things electrical His real first name is forgotten So we call him Sparky Dill Surely his father was a Kosher And not a little Gherkin His mom was probably bread and butter (I hope this rhyme is workin!) I hope you don’t misunderstand Sparky’s folks weren’t pickled Maybe just a little preserved With that last name they couldn’t be tickled So as you sit down to a feast this year As each plate passes for refills Eat wisely from the relish tray and remember Sparky’s family the Dills [This message has been edited by Poet deVine (11-22-2006 05:40 AM).] |

Just wondering if they're any relation to Cranberry Sauce. Guess there are a few other sauces, too. This is too cute. Happy Thanksgiving, Rae |

I process and set up application interviews and we got an app from an electrician named Sparky Dill. Truth! |

I love dill pickles, so your poem touched a nerve. With Thanksgiving upon us, now I'm in the mood for Turkey and all the fixings, including a good dill pickle. I'll think about Sparky Dill next time I partake. |
