Time burdens heavily upon wearied and worn shoulders, As does water over pebbles. Fighting the currents of A torrent’s glistening plummet into the fall’s abyss. This sight, burned into the neurons of a mind’s wander, Left silent against the backdrop of a blue tethered Sky where clouds drift as aimlessly as the feet of a Friday night drunk.. And, when the day rips through the dawn of night’s Blanket…one shall pass a corners edge….and gaze Solemnly upon the mirror of what once was before The bottle's fall into a place where only memories And shattered lives reside… |

When we have time to acknowledge some form of grief, it may seem awhile, as we wash through the dark that we find the light to do so. Understanding, all the way. |

And, when the day rips through the dawn of night’s Blanket…one shall pass a corners edge Sigi Magnus both my parents were alcoholics a bad thing for young ones to see, even worse to see reflected your own soul within their eyes, and yet perhaps only then will day rip through the dawn of night? I see hope here of saving ones spirit from the dark, light of a new day dawning!

To all, This was not meant to be written of such a dark flavor. Neither of my parents were alcoholics...nor was I...getting sick on beer one night told me I would never like it. A frozen dacquiri would go nicely with a meal of mexican food........ Yes, perhaps there is light and salvation out there for one...It only takes one courageous step as a beginning. |

"Time burdens heavily upon wearied and worn shoulders, As does water over pebbles. Fighting the currents of A torrent’s glistening plummet into the fall’s abyss." ~ Could you please be more descriptive and poetic? ~ NOT!!! What an outstanding passage!!! Loves 'n hugs, Linda |

You have always been such a deep thinker, my friend...so many emotions fall in these precise and aptly painted feelings you pen. |
