Lichi I watched a movie in which a young woman was obsessed with collectable pigs. Her husband suggested that she should rotate her pigs, leaving four or five on display at a time. In dismay, she said all of her pigs would remain on display, each pig affectionately named, and no matter how big or small, she would allow equal honors of display for them all. Within her heart she wished that, with her pigs he wasn't so alarmed. The pigs reminded her of a secure childhood on her familys pig farm. Thank you LeeJ, nakdthoughts and Magnus for the nice responses... I think people take hold of objects and elevate them to importance when they are missing the feeling of love and acceptance...James |
