even as you turn away.

I can feel the cold winter wind
every time you touch me
and its her you're really
wanting to hold.

It doesn't take goodbye
to be gone.

You have rendered this particular situation so very well!

(I would say "see" the stars in your eyes instead of "hear", but of course your overall sensitivity makes everything possible!)

I really felt this. You hooked me from the beginning. I mean that opening line was great. And then the last two lines...and everything in between.
