I have a faith enough for two That should your soul run dry On sprite-like feathers through the blue A half would swiftly fly And should some doubt abide in you A half of half I’d send And still my half would plainly do To see me through the end And I would send you more and more Upon an arrow’s speed That my abundant well afford The faith to fill your need Though mine can never bring you peace Nor can it sail the blue I truly will not ever cease To have such faith in you Elizabeth Santos |
