You may not sense the time has come you may not see the ruler fall so when it smacks you on the thumb that's just another wake up call You think it's just your rotten luck these things just catch you unaware your life that throws you 'neath the truck will run you down with some to spare Ain't that the way your story goes You sing the words I'll make 'em rhyme 'cuz brother when it comes to woes our game's in triple overtime I guess you'd say we got the blues that ol' dark cloud blots out the sun can't seem to find them dancin' shoes no matter how the record's spun We come up loosin' every time you oughta know darn well by now we're USDA friggin' prime ripe for the slaughter, yet somehow we find the strength to face the day and play it out the way we choose 'cuz brother like the Gospel say everybody get the blues. |

Serenity, Mud up, dear girl. Thanks so much. Did you get the " Dervishing " repost ? Doc Gentle Spirit, Thank you. I was listening to a Kenny Wayne Shepard song the other night and it kinda put me in the mood to maybe add a few verses. Sure hope he don't mind too much. Doc |
