Podium of Nobility

Stepping inside your love,
this podium of nobility to prize.
This place of comfort and warmth,
camped right next to your heart.

For you are adoration,
you are beauty inside and out.
You're heaven, an intelligent soul,
just one step closer, and never back in doubt.

My love, my wholesome kind,
the woman of precious spirit,
that God in His wisdom did find.
All these years, all that in hope,
the faith, this charity, of you
and beauty of mind.

To look to heaven, and to thank the Lord,
if only we can touch one another in the flesh.
Because only then will we both know that truth.
One step, and then two, those baby steps,
the footprints of life, our children,
our destiny, this united love of husband and wife.
