they are out there in abundance

linear minds tripping
over their inflated egos
and inabilities to see
what is at their feet

and some of us embrace this mind
to our own destruction
and to theirs too, sadly

but I make no apologies
for my love
except the timing
was bad
and the recipient
unable to receive

if I handed you my heart,
that was my business;
that you accepted it was yours

that you threw it back at me
with venom
makes it
our
mutual
loss

and sadly
this stupid heart
still holds a spot
for you

to say so very much, so well....in 'common' language....excellent!....this is a 'poetic voice' I truly look forward to 'listening' to quite carefully....many, many more times!
