I will hurry on beyond the cipher
while my wings are molten sounds
that change the minds of arrows
from the drunken cupid's lucidity

the hair of trees needs combing
and I will loan her my winds
and a discontented smile
insincere for momentary lifetimes

while she dresses her mornings
with the hardness of unripened fruit
in waxed bowl presentation
and though her eyes are pleading

for my hands to crush the virginity
of something not ready to occur
I will keep them folded as stones
underneath her boredom's bedroom

to bruise her heals when she dances
_______________

daark

There is always such a profound comfort in reading your work. When the last word has been absorbed, and my mind begins to spin back down to earth, I realize you have done it again. Yes, comfort, in that once again I was not dissappointed.
