Stalled, am I the river eddy at the fork A twisting fate Spun on and round and round again Am I the one Who cursed before is cursed to dance This static twirl Worn, am I the shallow root across your path A wasted limb Caressed by gravel underfoot Am I the one Who cursed before is cursed again to crawl This stony ground Cold, am I the stone embedded in your shoe A minor thought Ignored or cast aside both on a whim Am I the one Who cursed before is cursed again to clutch This final straw Alone, I am the leaf decaying on the tree I see it now A husk sucked dry and past the fall I am the one Who cursed before is cursed again to feel This loss of love |

When emotion is in motion, only forward goes the noble heart. What gravity in your talent, to pull a reader in and seat them steadfast. |
