On the days he gets annoyed everything changes The world does not bounce does not sing Everything is the same yet different darker You take away his loves his happiness Then the world becomes a shadow of itself An acheing torrent you would rather be out than in You never knew why this was, did you? Somedays you would wake and the sky would be dark The world would throb with foreboding Everything would just lay out before you The world would show you its scars You didn't know why but it was him, annoyed. He feels threatened by the changes you make He feel the dark slipping in around him His tears are a beacon to the otherside Come, come feast on the light weakened by hate He is the harbinger of the coming of the dark He is guardian to the gates of the seven hells. Still you mock him, fair skin, Dark hair Still you taunt him, red eyes, soft heart. And the darkness comes out once again The tornados ride, the lightning falls as rain The rivers run as blood, the cities cry in silence And you all feel it in you, you feel his pain. Should you fear him? destroyer, bringer of the night Should you pity him, Lonely, child of the rain One whose tears invoke the floods of babylon One whose shuddering causes quakes around the world Yet he is unaware just a small child And as the bullies fists fall the wars begin. Do not go gentle into that good night. |

I read this; it's not a promising future for the material minded, and even less for those who lie, mock, and harm the innocent. It's strange that the number 7 comes up in reference to the gates of hell, as 7 is the number of the unknown. Ignorance is not bliss in this case. |
