I am defined as happy

yet yesterday I cried.

I am defined as smart

yet yesterday I cheated.

I am defined as confident

yet yesterday I fell.

I am defined as realistic

yet yesterday I hid.

I am defined as valued

yet yesterday I was forgotten.

I am defined as strong

yet yesterday I let go.

I am defined as virtuous

yet yesterday I sinned.

I am defined by others

yet yesterday I smiled.

it's sad that so much of who we are is set in stone by others but it happens

as long as we know who we are, then we are doing pretty good I think
