Howdy everyone. Every once in a while, I post something when I feel like I did an alright job. Hope this seems alright. It's a song I wrote, so the one statement applies to me playing guitar, to clarify things. Hope you might enjoy it, please leave me some feedback.

I remeber when blankets meant warmth,
instead of this hellish curse,
that you wrap yourself up in,
and simply try to contain.

And the only things that come to mind,
are the ones you're supposed to be forgetting,
and you almost have to smile,
half at them, half at what you've become.

And every song was your song,
but now there's nothing you will sing,
your voice is hoarse and aching,
just best not to talk.

What kind of present is the present?
Not one I'd like to recieve,
I'd re-wrap it but I'm praying,
noone else will ever feel like this.

You figure I'd stop playing,
when there is no use of faking,
everybody's gone to bed now,
and the moon's out of tears.

Go on playing and writing, you do well!

Sad situation well rendered, enjoyed especially the "moon's out of tears".

Today it will be full! Sing, despite everything!

Love,
Margherita
