on the spinnaker side of sundown sound
I can hear the asphalt speak graveleeze
new road's been born down behind the trees

it has a soul of woman in her curves
deadly but fascination without a boundary
they say the lines are missing on purpose

in case one wants a turn off to heaven
without waiting for a wide spot
or directions from those who went before

and then there are the hell bound hounds
that pant the slivers edge nightly
with metal lanterns hanging from their eyes

they blind side her gullies with leather
and mate her wound with metal brittle
leaving their seeds scattered on her winds

spent like sea shells on children's laughter

scribblenote: from the 101 down to ms labu' the metal boys grind some skin on this cruvey piece of music

DS...I think I've been there but for some reason it just didn't look the same.

"spent like sea shells on children's laughter"  Lovely line!!!

driving Decker
was always an adventure
even on full moon nights

oh, you took me back
on a winding path,
convoluted memories...
is Millie still alive???

guess I had my own side trip with this one, DS

Your writing is as mesmerizing as that road -- it too takes me on a journey with no lines.

With each word, you draw me in.
With each line, you spin me.
With each new thought, I become mesmerized.

'tis the gift of dark.
