Sleepy Fringe On A Full Moon Ghostly, the reflection of my wandering mind Perfectly round, in the glow of an afterthought More intent my vision, more blurred the edges So fixed upon the shape of an answer in a bubble The darkness consumed all but the light Melting, it seemed, into soft strands of furry fringe Out of reach, to clear the fray Out of touch, the words at play Reaching out, the adjustment of simple time Rise and set, lidded sphere, in this truth of mine Yet to harvest, I raise my glasses, and see clear Copyright Kkh 9/7/06 |

"soft strands of furry fringe" Wish I'd come up with that phrase. I do love your writing, Kathleen. *hugs*....jo |
