Sanctuary By Design Too much noise has dinned to ear, was once our perfect hearing Weather changes, not the seasons or rapport endearing Listen to my fingers speak, as much my heart can say Put aside convention for the truth love must convey Another warms the regions wired off in barbed remark The golden ring hangs low upon a nailed oaken bark As light was shown upon the recess of forbidden dreams The sins that left my lips uncovered, all this friendship means So face too with the years gone by, and stand my ground alone Before your eyes, along the mind, caress the fields we’ve sown To part the boughs of discontent, and enter in this way And listen to my fingers speak the best that I could say If not your lasting will reflect the honor there to light Then all I ever saw before was shadows in the night But if you meant the care made soft in rivers over time Then by my side and enter here, this opening sublime Let out the lion pacing jail within a den of thieves Set free at last onto a guided path that still believes And know me well, along the mind your soothe has taken root Then you will see our footsteps there, light prints of fine repute As welcome as has ever been, into this place love forged Without the need of proven points a larger heart engorged Then sit in more of comforts arms left mute beneath the moon Well warm the embers of the fall, and hold me none too soon Copyright Kkh 10/29/06 |

"But if you meant the care made soft in rivers over time Then by my side and enter here, this opening sublime" it flows and sings and whispers secrets |

Well, now ... This is GR8! How could I have overlooked this gem? Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |
