It Never Lessened The Pain When you came into my life It brightened with happiness I would never have imagined You would become heartless You were the thoughtful kind One that was caring and true Never could I have perceived The inconsideration from you Although I had been noticing A few subtle changes in you Seems a dead end situation The one which you led me to Love remains no matter what I recall you saying this to me There was no doubt however I was being ignored purposely After I accepted your apology Silence was happening again Yet I loved you without doubt But it never lessened the pain Hope ©2006 Link to the music and graphic below http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/102/poem_8371159.html |

There is such a tyranny in the agony of your irony. What a brutal blow is that of a betrayed or an abandoned love. You have expressed it well. David Every Day's a Blessing |
