i say a prayer for my friend
if that is what he is
there are many things at work
is it truly the devil
that makes him
do the things he does
or is it the great God
that makes him go through lessons
from some long past deed
i may never know
i may never learn
oh God come to my assistance
in this urgent need
i feel the day filling my heart with peace
will never come
without your intervention
please heal us
please help us
give me the answers as
i say a prayer for a friend
if that is what he is
amen amen amen...
