subtle breezes tickled the sun from his sleep this morning told him keep it cool don’t you know autumn’s on its way spring mountain horses chuffed shook their heads raised their heels politely bemused gusty promises enticed us paiute shaman nodded watched you show me shadows and skies on the naked side of tumbleweed white shirt sleeves rolled up as if for business you pulled the sun down into his bed told him shhh… don’t disturb waiting for autumn |

Autumn is arriving here now Kate, but your poem takes me back to the mountains, to home....and I can see the beautiful colours waiting there to greet me. mmmmm...dear Lady, this is truly one of my favorites of yours, this imagery is outstanding. |

"Spring Mountain" ~ with a title like that, I was certain to be drawn in! ~ and of course, by the author of that title! There is something extremely special about your writing. It's magical! Loving hug of appreciation, Linda |
