Why is it
Everytime you turn away
Denying my love for you

Why is it
Every night I dream
of me lost without you

I know it isn't right
But it sure doesn't feel wrong
When I've held you in the past
You cured me, being alone

But now I just sit
And wait,
and wonder,
What will come of this

Will I ever reach your soul
As you have mine
Pierced my heart
Will I ever taste your kiss

I like to dream
Don't get me wrong
Of nights you lay with me
and caress my lonely soul

I'll never forget
Your smile and beautiful eyes
If I never get to touch you
I'll still hold you thru the night

Only at night you can see the depth of the sun
