Karma I saw the happiness of love Painted in the irises under her brow And I wondered if this was real or a dream--- This moment the morning sun caught my soul weeping…. Still, I felt that warm feeling in my heart Even as I lifted my feet and saw them--- Trampled and drowning in blind love, The many eyes of beautiful flowers, That once admired me for my passion and words… But now I see a look of contempt As blood drips onto their awaiting tongues, From thorns that pierced the truth from my past; And from the ground I heard a faint chorus of chuckles, Secretly knowing this to be neither dream nor real, As I look into the mirror... ...Only to see sorrow smile… Marcel |

Powerful emotions Keith. Such weight in the heart, but the passing of clouds I think. Well done. |
