A road trip shades down in the sun buzz of flies dawn comes to the smell the hickory smoke unbleached rides and a park for you set across highway 89 now the neighbour wakes on route 40 dog needs to be walked roadside ditch for that call but the shades are low trailer park can't see when the misses washes up releases that city look the road trip jumps from map to plan embraced terraced vineyards spotted yellow twine down to breezy parks while you walk nowhere 'cause its the trailer that takes you transports the spirit like a hammock takes a weight swings away to the rhythm of transpired heat clears a vision homes on wheels off interstate 210 a junction on another side welcomes forget the tent... |
