As Always thanks to all those who have been reading my poems, and replying so warmly...thanks again.

Here we go,

I Close My Eyes

I close my eyes
and i keep seeing things
things about us
about our past
past that died some time ago

i close my eyes
yet i can't stop seeing you leaving
i close my eyes
and i cry
'cause i try
but i just can't stop you
from reaching that door

i close my eyes
and i can't open them
'cause the sadness is stronger
that my desire to see

look at me now
with my eyes closed
look at me
just look and come back

'cause i can't open my eyes
they don't want to see
anything else than you

i close my eyes
but the only one
that can open them
it's you
my love

one day
i just know that one day
my eyes will see you again
until then i'll keep seeing things
about us
about our past
with my eyes closed
