Lush green from burnt brown again. Swards of turf, a carpet under trees metamorphosing to dream fire hues. Laughing ducks and rapid machine gun like fire sound of nosey magpies. Clouds smokey, more ominously dark now, but strangely beautiful accompanied by silence. Fleeting draughts of wind stir trees, branches hushing and tremulous, while young robins, barely blushing red breasts, stalk ever dwindling insects. Entering the prelude to vibrant colour and heart lurching wonder, my seasons draw closer, my pulse slowly quickening. |

Phil, you are one who truly feels the pulse of Nature and are able to relay that into the most exquisite poetry. Linda |
