Growing old is not the problem
Though the aging scars my face
As long as I can hold thy love
Feel your touch in moon's embrace

Growing old should be a pleasure
Wisdom gained in years gone by
Memories of moonlit romance
Butterflies set free to fly

Growing old is making choices
Keeping my feet anchored in clay
While my soul is opening doors
To the adventures of each new day

What a sweet poem. Yes, growing older definitely has its plus side. I look at my grand daughters and think how happy I am not to be going through the stages of life they're in the way the world is today. Then I always tell them I'm glad I'm old.
