I lost my heart to her
that night in Van Nuys

that magic moment when
she looked into my eyes.

We drove to Long Beach
in my '57 Ford

I wrote "I love you"
upon the sands of Belmont Shore.

She's everything that I ever
wanted in my life.

Sherry can you come out tonight?

Bob's Big Boy, Van Nuys....but mine was in my boyfriend's '57 Ford more often than another friend's '57 Chevy. My old stomping grounds, from there to Santa Cruz and back.
Van Nuys is really nasty looking these days though.
