Much of stride My stride has marked a brief motif Time enough an aperitif A pinch of dust a pinch of flair Now resting in a memories lair I’ve covered some there is to see Of this and that and what could be And made my mark on some I think But truth remains it’s but a wink I am a monk a monkey’s world Aged and tarnished but not despoiled My mind still goes the speed of one And will I think till I am done I’ve poked and reached in fantasy Some worlds beyond expectancy And though I move the speed of light A prism shows these worlds in sight And yet I am a monk alone And sit a single mind, my throne |
