I Can't As much as you wish it were not so. My love of you just will not go, Away so that you could move on with your life. I refuse, I can't stop, I would live with this strife, That pulls and twists and beats me down. Your refuse of pure bliss coninues my frown, That softens my hard eye whispering hints of a broken man. You turned on your fear and you ran, Far away from me and my perfect, oh not. For perfect blind was I, my imperfections a lot, To be picked and clawed, then left to fest. Images of you, a slight smile at rest, While I leaned in and so softly kissed. It's that smile so sweet and content that I've missed. |

Welcome to Passions. The dilema you write is very real. TD |

Welcome, Strathaniel...many can relate to this human condition...I liked the use of rhyme in this emotive poem. |
