Under the Blanket so Something

In the quiet morning before dawn
all comfort drawn in warm
a blanket can give you things
most   soft    arm

Slip in here my sweet dark place
embrace the soft of curl
a canopy of safe skin touch
lit by dream half gone

A blessing breathes
a snore to light
through the door can peek
into the changing almost here
of liquid eyes dream keep

The coming of the birds sing in
the window half a crack
naked the stretch of feet my heart
gives love a rub attack

And all in time that has no place
is sweetest breakfast muffin
a feast of soul in waking thus
that starts the day so something

Ah, and sentimentality seeps...
but not a sense of trite herein....

spread some of that wondrous dust,
poet....that I might learn even more....

of style, and form,
and line breaks...

and

Magic!

I sort of love it when I think you are "lost for words."   So something is good!
