Give and Be Given

Forgive me my love,
please step closer to my soul.
Touch my heart in amour
and we can step on the sun.

Warm my being in your scent,
let me breathe in every word.
This place that God has made,
a Yom Kippur to eternal hold.

Forgive my love, that treasure inside,
this love I give openly, yet you do hide.
A time for all seasons, an ecclesiastical event,
plant your stake and pitch your tent

Climb my mountain, walk in grace,
cast aside feelings of doubt.
Your life, or our life to live,
all I asked is to give and be give.
