she sits a cobalt mood blues beckoning beyond pale thoughts of ~once upon a time~ listen to the beat blues waterfalling as brooks babble yesterday's news when all your ears want to hear is tomorrow's price, the dues how to pay it forward, move ahead "cleanup aisle two please" then step around whatever else fell in the pathway unexpectedly today slides away while night time hovers, as if a lover awaits in the wings so you spread your winged thoughts soar, try not to look back he is there, he is there a bare two steps away but oh, they are such long steps |

Kacy, I liked all the visuals and sensorial suggestions. I feel I have known the character in your poem! Wish I could read and respond as much as I'd like... Take care. miscellanea |
