Veiled by gloom, nightmares
claim me, into a gloaming
world, shifting darker shades.
Opaque orange, rising to
my senses, lightening to
yoke yellow and you,
filling my eye with
smiles to bring joy
to a heart made
sweeter each day, by
your shadow close to mine.
