Over and over Your face in my head Keeps me spinning round Trying to hold on steady To keep from falling down Lost you once were, Thought your soul was gone Tossed into an endless ocean Never allowing time for The slow crush of emotion I suppress the urge The most basic desire To express what I feel So with furtive glances These moments I steal Watching you flower With tender care Like a bloom in spring From a seed laid dormant Is such a wonderful thing Love comes to heal, To strengthen you And to purify I watch as you grow wings And soar into the sky |

That kind of love is never taken for granted. Very well done, Poet. |
