I can feel the heat upon my face Laughing in it's flowing grace Whilst the flower melts within my hand as it returns to the crying land My imperfect words too often spoken keep the perfect heart from being broken Lapping greedily at a tender light and it dims more with every night A careless mind with equal lips that drink with slow and careful sips from a pool i've not seen before and I pray to see such nevermore |
