You Would Not Be Aware

Heartache cannot be seen
With a smile on my face
I have to swallow the tears
So none will leave a trace

Heartache happened within
Its beneath the disguise
I fake a glowing happiness
With smiles from my eyes

Heartache I will have to bear
As longing lingers again
I have to quell this yearning
Since my tears are in vain

Heartache I silently languish
While it hurts emotionally
I know you will not be aware
Because I mask the reality

there have been times that I couldn't hold it in and I let him know

don't really know what good it did but mostly I keep it to myself now
