5469 In Head of Time 13 June 2006 Each eye was a vision as others were not to see An image of eternity this blessing from inside A touch of grace, a heart standing still ever good to embrace, her hand to virtual hold Such justice, void of service, this price of cost her endeavour, a salvation of an open account Where flesh does not look as similar justified across the warmth of a gulf stream This vision, this image, almost ever-after reality would she know this road to follow, a path bare Naked in naturalness, a uniformity aside this place where beauty was to rest A shoulder, a heart, this beating to contemplate did she know, another day, seen in head of time “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29: 18 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
