The first Anthony record I bought was from 'Idol on Parade' I have always been sad that he died so young. He came home to die, but he was so talented but this was from Lonnie Donegan, who invented 'Skiffle', and introduced us to the washboard and a broom, as you started at the basics of learning rhythm. I was probably between 8 and 10 and that would bake it between 1956 and 1958. Dave |
