The wedding plans now made; the troop all - here.... around. The bride and groom uplifted, by the seeds where they were found. The pastor with his eyes wide... the visitors a'know; the past-tense almost perfect... the widow eyes a'glow. The man on the lean lawnmower: below the steepled dome, sit's with his cup tipped over, across the way from home. |

What a curious poem. Spent quite awhile trying to figure it out....good exercise for the imagination. Sounds foreboding, though -- almost more like a funeral scene. |

Different said the walking man to the passing wind we walked this way tommorrow while all around us grinned Smiles created more misery in this world of woe and we kept on travelling although we'd nowhere to go The endless trudging led us by hand by tooth by claw to the infinite ocean where our souls did soar I went to the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to get out of the rain. |

A very mysterious write...seems to me that the man on the lean lawnmower is part of a puzzle once created...and sits waiting for his time to come... |

Interesting write, and yes, agree, a bit of a mystery here. "sit's" s/b "sits" yes? Corinne |

Interesting read....I don't have much time to come up with an interpretation, but enjoyed reading others. I'll have to give this another look. Thanks for the puzzle. ~sky I hope someday you get the chance to live like you were dying.... |

iliana, you are close, very close. Well, It's about a wedding I attended last week! The man on the mower, (whom had mowed the churchyard).... appeared "passed out" as the bride and groom exited the country church doors... Tou are very, very astute my friend! Will |
