and, when I am gone do not keep me preserved like a specimen in a solution of tears but remember the way we made each other tremble and let your quivering smile be the marker of my passing |

D A M N! Who gave you permission to keep on wowing me with your talent!?! Ok, I wish I had written this - and the last stanza? - What an impact! P.S ~ Since I'm going to purchase your book - are many of the poems posted at PIP in the book? - I would love for them to be. Plus, are all the poems recently written around 1999 +....I always ask these questions of poets so I can write down the date written to commemorate. Anyways, I'm like a Tony groupie now LOL I truly wish I could write more like you! Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

Great use of words and good advice. Once I told my daughter I didn't want them hanging over a grave after I go. She said, "Ah, but then you'll no longer be here to tell us what we can't do." Rae |

"do not keep me preserved like a specimen in a solution of tears" I think we all would like that when gone but I think for those left behind the remembering always brings on both tears and smiles and each should be treasured. Well now, I'm feeling pretty sad after reading your poem but that doesn't take anything away from an excellent write. Well done! |

Amazing write! As always! I too am a Tony groupie. Although a shy one. So you may not know that I view all of your performances. Also... I am very unattractive... So its perfectly understandable if I just sit out in the hallway. ::smiles:: :: bows :: |
