you spoke of climate in a rather lady like manner but I hoped the wind would come and undo your precautions something about storms and what they do to deserts seems so erotic to my mind and the subtle edges of mountains just before the sky presses down and holds them captive in clouds like a lover's hands wanting more and a lover's lips drinking dreams from the shimmering shoulder of a rainbow ________________ daark |

I LOVE everything about this - so sensual, elegant, enticing......It's a keeper~ Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

Hello Dark Stranger, this reminds me of "The English Patient", one of my favourite, bitter-sweet books. The reference to the winds clinched it. A melancholy, yet sensual rhythm to your poem heightens that-romantic, in the best sense of the word. I really enjoyed this, thanks for the read. |
